Words of Wisdom from Professor Katz
Curiosity did not "kill the cat"--- what a ridiculous idea!!! Curiosity is one of the best characteristics a science student can have.
Dare to make mistakes. We usually learn the most from our mistakes. NOBODY is purrfect... not even me!
NEVER compare yourself to others when it comes to your performance, whether it's in school, sports or anything else. What you should compare is how you did today against how you did yesterday. Are you making progress? That's the only "grade" that matters. If you're making progress, even if it's only a little, feel PROUD!!! If you're not making progress, ask for help, and keep working your hardest. Improvement will come.
Don't ever be embarassed or ashamed to ask for help, or admit you don't know something. Every human being on Earth, all 7.05 billion of them, needs help at times. Think of it this way-- if you don't know something, and you learn it, then you know more today than you did yesterday. Good job!!!
