3) STUDY IN "CHUNKS". Your brain is not designed to take in large amounts of information at one time; it absorbs information in small chunks. It's much more effective to study 5 nights for 10-15 minutes than it is to study for an hour the night before a test.
Studies have shown that, if you go home and review something new that you were taught that day, you will recall 80% of the information the next day. BUT, if you go home and DON'T review it, you will only remember 15-20% of the information the next day. So it's actually much less work to review new concepts each night for 10-15 minutes, than it is to have to relearn it the next day.
